Our in-roof and re-roof at our Reads Avenue project will be complete today on the roof. We have been hampered here by wind, rain,hail, ice causing major delays to this project. Roll on spring ☀️☀️

Progress of our swimming pool in-roof solar project over Xmas, 2 x 8 ton skips filled with the old roof tiles 😤😤

We ran out of tiles due to a delivery complication between Xmas and New year 🥴

Project completed on time and on budget 💪💪

We hope you had a great Xmas and New year!

Over the Xmas period our Solar and roofing teams worked through on a large re-roof and in-roof solar system for Jason Medd Swim School

This was a challenging project due to a number of factors.

🟥 We was already running behind on a previous project due to the deep freeze the previous week

🟥 The Swimming pool was only closed between Dec 17-Jan 3rd, we had to complete the install between these dates

🟥 We had a Xmas and New year between the above dates

🟥 Last but not least, it rained for most of the Xmas period

With all of the above, our FCR team completed the project in the NIC of time on the 3rd of January

🔴 Stripping the existing roof tiles, felt and batten

🔴 Re-felt and batten both sides of the roof

🔴 Re-tile the roof in a matt black tile

🔴 Install a 16 panel in-roof solar system and a three phase Sunsynk inver and Sunsynk double battery install

Before we can install an in-roof solar panel system, if your roof is over a certain age then we must first re-felt and re batten the roof, this ensures the roof felt is of a breathable, fire resistant standard.

Failing to carry out these initial works could mean you may have to remove your solar panel install at a later date to carry out roof repairs which could prove very costly and inconvenient

Solar and battery install including a reroof, lead and chimney work in Fleetwood

Work included re-felt and batten of the roof with new breathable felt. Re-slate of the roof using most of the original slates. The chimney also need work so we dropped the chimney and repointed, facias and gutters were also replaced. This was a three story house so carrying out all the work together made sense whilst the scaffolding is up

Solar install included 6x panels on the high level South facing roof and 10x panels on the West facing roof, this install is an in roof install using the GSE in roof trays. Inverter is a Sunsynk inverter with a 5.2kW battery back up for storing any unused power generated.
