This was an interesting chimney breast removal we did last year. It was off centre so the steels needed to be big enough to hold the chimney breast above but not protrude out either plain of the roofline above or below. It was a vaulted ceiling below. We got there in the end liasing with the structural engineers and designing and fabricating the steels ourselves.

We removed the kitchen/office wall, inserted a structural steel, moved and replaced a window, new plaster, Quickstep vinyl flooring, lights etc.
