Allied Welsh, a trusted loft conversion company with 30+ years of
experience, is looking for a reliable Roofer/Labourer to join our
team.

Location: Tonyrefail, Rhondda Cynon Taff
Salary: £23,000 – £30,000 per year (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (PAYE)

About the Role:

Assist with roof installations and maintenance tasks.
Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality loft conversions.
Keep work areas tidy and assist in material handling.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in roofing or construction (preferred but not
essential).
Hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Full UK driving licence is preferred.
What We Offer:

Competitive salary based on experience.
28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).

Uniform and PPE provided.

Complete 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks.
Work with the team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Provide excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of carpentry experience (required).
Loft fitting experience is a big plus.
Good communication and customer service skills.
A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Fantastic master bedroom created through a loft conversion with a rear dormer extension! This stunning space features large windows on either side of the proposed bed location and three Velux windows at the front, flooding the room with natural light.

Paired with a spacious shower room (featured in our previous post), this transformation has turned an unused attic into a luxurious master suite, enhancing both the living space and property value for our client.

It's been a busy few months, and we're excited to share a new project update! Here's a glimpse into a recent dormer loft conversion, where we transformed attic space into two stunning bedrooms and a shower room.

The design utilizes the front gable to create a cozy nook with a triangular window, framed by Velux windows on either side. At the rear, a spacious flat-roof dormer opens up to a generous bedroom with a large feature window and an adjacent shower room.

Pleased to share one of our latest projects—a breathtaking loft conversion in a beautiful converted chapel. This unique transformation has created two fantastic bedrooms while preserving the chapel’s historic charm.

We retained the original king post trusses, adding a touch of timeless elegance to the space. The bespoke hardwood stairs were custom-crafted for both style and durability, seamlessly blending modern comforts with historic features.

Back with some more progress photos on this project, following on from our recent structural completion update.
Our fitting team have since fully insulated and plasterboarded the entire loft ready for our plastering team to take over! Externally the dormer windows have been installed and dormer cladding completed, along with all lead and roofing works.

Velux loft conversion and full slate re-roof. A combination of four velux windows on the rear creating a fantastic feature internally that also floods the room with natural light.
