The Carpenter Oak frame went up today on our job in Broadhempston, I'm collaborating with Steve Baker of SPB building who's laid the groundworks and constructed the waterproof thermal block wall that separates our building from a shared boundary wall. There will be a flat roof with a central lantern arrangement that will be covered with a living roof, in this case sedum. The visible elevations will be glass from eaves to ground, with bi folding doors forming the complete length of the open side.

Softwood secondary roof completed over the oak framed roof this morning and insulation started.

The last few weeks have been spent on this gorgeous oak framed studio in cornworthy, eventually there will be a lift coming up in the corner from the basement beneath.

Last week saw the curved sash window installed, the customers decorator followed on straight afterwards and here is the finished article, really pleased with the results.

When a friends parents needed a window repair I had no idea I'd end up making a full replacement that even involved steam bending some beading. Well here we are and first coat of exterior gloss applied this morning, looking forward to fitting next week.
