RJ Knapman & Son Ltd is a family run construction business that has been carrying out quality work since the 1930's. Based at our yard in Galmpton, near Brixham we carry out contract work for companies (such as the RNLI & National Trust) as well as developing new build sites and providing a comprehensive building service for home extentions, conversions, improvements and decorating. We pride ourselves in the quality workmanship that our skilled tradesmen provide.

Taking on refurbishment of the Greenhouse at National Trust Greenway this winter may not have been ideal timing but we cracked on through many a cold, wet day into warmer days as pictured. Now all finished, it looks resplendent!

All salvageable frames were painstakingly repaired and restored. Some frames were remade by hand where necessary. 50% of the 350 pains were salvaged, repaired, cleaned, and re-bedded. The other half were replaced. Finally everything was repainted. A true labour of love!
