Been a pleasure to reinstate one of the 7 chimneys at the Alms Houses in Llanrwst. Restored to its former glory! Allowing it to breathe once again after it was filled with concrete some years ago. Rebuilt in lime, dressed new corners using local stone and a matching Victorian chimney pot sourced to replace the cracked one.

Here is an example of a set of entrance walls and pillars done for a local customer. The customer asked for a random pattern using the Aber limestone from a quarry in Angelsey. A lot of dressing and cutting went into the stones getting them to fit tightly but the finished product was worth the time and effort. The copings for the pillars were re used sandstone slabs which were dressed to fit the new pillars. ⚒
