80mm Tobermore Manhattan block paving done on Cessnock Road Troon

Thanks again to you and the family, it was a pleasure doing this one 😃👍🏻

✅ Clear garden and dig out

✅ Install 200mm sub base (45 ton type 1)

✅ Cut back garden wall and rebuild butt, reposition original sandstone and roughcast

✅ Give the newly installed sub base the usual HGV weighted test 🤣 (20 ton upwards)

✅ Screee and block pave using the 25 different block variations

✅ And finally returf the whole lawn

‼️STRUCTURAL ALTERATION‼️

This 6.3m load bearing brick wall was removed to introduce a single structural steel beam which we installed to support the load of the above roof & floor joists.

All propping works and temporary supporting was done by ourselves to ensure it is done correctly and safely. We are fully insured and have over 15 years experience with this kind of work.

All of our steel fabrications are supplied to us with certification - which meets local authority requirements and will allow completion of building warrants.

Replacement of all lintels on this one. This gable end was showing its age and was in need of some serious work. We removed the gable end and replaced all of the lintels and rebuilt everything back up ready for the roughcaster to finish it off ✔️
