A good example of why EICR’s are important for you’re electrical system. This was found lurking inside trunking in a plant room 🫣. We soon repaired the cable and made it so there was less pressure on the cable entry stopping this from happening again!

Even on a Sunday we are fighting time to get this holiday property up to standards.

It was found to have the main earth not even connected

And an incorrectly installed consumer unit causing a back feed to circuits when the isolator was switched off. Not good!

All rectified and a new consumer unit installed today.

We are busy carrying out consumer unit upgrades, remedials, and spa/pool refurbishing works this week. More to come ⚡️
