Cornish Metals provides an update on the surface diamond drilling currently underway at the Roskear site within the South Crofty tin project in Cornwall.

Drillhole SDD26_001A has been completed to a final depth of 1199.1 metres. The drillhole intersected multiple mineralised structures which host existing mineral resources, as well as extensions to the west of known resource areas, demonstrating opportunities for resource growth.

Samples are being prepared for shipment to Ireland for testing, with assay results expected in June 2026.

The second drillhole, SDD26_002 will commence shortly, targeting the same structures approximately 100 metres west of the first drillhole.

The two-hole, 2,400 metre drilling campaign has been designed to:

⛏️ Test extensions to known mineralisation

🔎 Evaluate priority exploration targets identified through historic drilling and recent geological interpretation

💰 Cornish Metals has secured the debt portion of the project financing for the South Crofty tin project through the successful completion of an oversubscribed US$210 million bond fundraising. This is an important step in advancing the project towards production which is expected in mid-2028.

In line with this, the company expects to be fully funded and in a position to announce the final investment decision for South Crofty this summer.

In our Annual Report, we set out how sustainability and responsible development remain central to Cornish Metals’ strategy and long term value creation.
The publication of our inaugural Sustainability Report, aligned with GRI Standards, marked an important step in formalising our environmental, social and governance approach as South Crofty advances. Sustainability oversight sits at Board level through the Sustainability Committee, reinforcing accountability and transparency.
Environmental stewardship remains a key focus. By reusing existing mine infrastructure and planning to backfill mine voids, we are minimising land disturbance and long‑term environmental risk. During the year, around three million cubic metres of mine water were treated, delivering measurable improvements in downstream water quality.
Health and safety continues to be our highest priority as activity levels increase, supported by strong systems, training and a proactive safety culture. As the Project progresses, we remain committed to continuous improvement and responsible delivery.
