The heat pump grant is increasing to £9,000 💵

The government has confirmed a £1,500 uplift to the Boiler Upgrade Scheme - the highest level of support the scheme has offered for off-grid properties. It opens for applications in July 2026 and runs until March 2027.

If your home is off the gas grid, it’s worth getting your survey and EPC arranger now as installer demand is likely to rise once the higher grant goes live 🏡

Another fantastic renewables project completed by the Wells Renewables team ⭐

We’ve recently installed two Grant air source heat pumps to provide heating and hot water for this large domestic property. As part of the upgrade, we safely removed two old oil-fired boilers—helping our client transition to a far more energy-efficient and sustainable system.

This property is now fully future-ready, with:
✔ A dedicated air source heat pump for the swimming pool
✔ A large solar PV system
✔ Newly installed renewable heating for year-round efficiency

A brilliant example of how multiple renewable technologies can work together to reduce running costs and carbon footprint.
