✅ Roof Safety Restored — Fully Compliant & Back in Service

Following testing of a roof handrail and fixed ladder system, we identified areas requiring attention to meet current safety standards.

The temporary guardrail was found to fall below the 950mm height requirement in certain sections, with several fixings missing.
As a precaution, the system was taken out of service while remedial works were carried out.

We have now successfully completed the works, which included:

🔹Restoring the freestanding handrail to full compliance
🔹Replacing and securing all required fixings
🔹Thoroughly checking the system to ensure it is safe and fit for use

All remedial works were completed in accordance with BS13700:2021, and the system is now fully compliant and back in service.

Safety at height isn’t optional — it’s essential. Proactive inspections and timely remedials make all the difference.

What we did:

Dismantled and removed old cabinets, worktops, and appliances
