Uckfield Concert Brass is recruiting cornet players and we need you!

Do you have an instrument collecting dust and want to get back into playing?

Perhaps you’re ready for a change, or fancy playing in a Brass Band having tried other ensembles.

Whatever the case, Uckfield Concert Brass is ready to welcome you. We are an exceptionally friendly and welcoming band and we also have a thriving starter band if you want to bring someone less experienced along too.

With a selection of fun gigs lined up for the year, it would be great to welcome some new cornet players (and other instruments too) into our midst.

We rehearse at The Alma Arms, 65 Framfield Road, Uckfield, TN22 5AJ on a Tuesday evenings, 8pm-10pm.
Starter band 6.30 - 7.30pm.

Uckfield Concert Brass were saddened to hear of the passing last week of Jane Wright one of their vice presidents. Since Jane moved to Uckfield over 30 years ago, she had been a keen supporter of the band and rarely missed a concert with a particular favourite being the annual Carols by Candlelight evening at Holy Cross church. Jane also gave the band financial support in the past by becoming a sponsor, for which we were extremely grateful. We will miss seeing her at our concerts and know she'll be sorely missed by all her friends in the band and beyond.
