A Good Friday for this Zetor 5340 at local farm🔴🐣

Full replacement of the hydraulic hoses on the front loader, after noticing some serious perishing whilst attending a breakdown on it last week. All hoses made and replaced on-farm, with some minor adjustments to prevent future premature wear.

Steak & chips dinner on farm was an added bonus from Cumbria’s keenest electrician working on Good Friday, road kill bill.

I was contacted last week by another plant firm from Cheshire📍, to carry out some warrenty work.

Explaining they’d sold a used tigerbite micro crusher to a local to me caravan park. They asked if I’d take a look asap as after only an hour of use it decided it didn’t want to run any longer!

Visited site, diagnosing a blown engine💨

I was quickly able to source a new replacement unit locally, and after a re-visit today, replacing the Kubota diesel engine, wiring harness & ancillaries, we had a happy crusher & a happy customer who was a pleasure to deal with⚒️

Breakdown callout to a site in Ulverston this morning. For a new Groundworks customer from Blackpool📍

Electrical fault found to be a key barell fault, meaning the fuel solanoid wasn’t being activated. New part sourced locally and back running within the hour💪🛠️

On site in sunny Kendal today carrying out replacement of the rotary hydraulic coupling on this Takeuchi TB370. An awkward job!🤦‍♂️
Unfortunately a unit which can’t be resealed meaning the whole unit had to be replaced using genuine parts💪
