Bruce Materials Processing Solutions was delighted to attend Hillhead 2026, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for the quarrying, construction and recycling industries.

Held at Hillhead Quarry in Buxton, the event provided a fantastic opportunity to showcase our latest mobile washing solution, meet customers and industry partners from around the world, and connect with visitors from across the materials processing sector.

A key highlight for Bruce was the exhibition debut of the 𝗕𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗕-𝗘-𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗛 - a fully electric, mobile washing solution designed to provide maximum flexibility for modern aggregate processing operations.

We would like to thank everyone who visited the Bruce stand, took the time to speak with our team and helped make Hillhead 2026 such a successful event.

Looking for a career as a Welder?

Twelve training opportunities are now available through the Welding Academy at South West College (SWC).

This intensive six-week programme provides industry-standard training and accredited qualifications to prepare participants for a career in welding. Participants can also choose to complete an introduction to robotic welding.

Eligible applicants will be invited to an information session and interview during the week beginning Monday 24 August 2026 at SWC's welding facility in Cookstown.

Training runs from Monday 7 September to Friday 16 October 2026.

Those who successfully complete the Academy are guaranteed a job interview with one of the supporting employers. Participants will also receive a £185 weekly training allowance, plus help with travel and childcare costs.
