WOW… what an incredible few months it’s been 🙌🐾
We have been completely overwhelmed by the support, excitement & amazing community surrounding the expansion of HDK9 Training into our Training Centre at Tresillian Barton, Newquay. It’s been such an exciting journey already — and honestly, we’re only just getting started 😄
Over the last 3 months we’ve had the privilege of running:

The atmosphere at the centre has been unreal. Watching dogs & handlers grow in confidence, build relationships, learn new skills & become part of such a supportive dog community has honestly been the best part of all of this ❤️
HDK9 has always been about more than just dog training — it’s about building friendships, supporting each other, having fun with our dogs & creating a place where everyone feels welcome no matter where they are on their journey.
And the future looks VERY bright ✨

We can confirm! The cakes are delicious (The breakfast's are also a hit!) we conducted these tests for scientific reasons, obviously! Open, 8am-2pm!! Come and check out what all the fuss is about!

We regret to inform you that the tribute event scheduled to take place at Tresillian Barton this May will no longer be going ahead at our venue.

This decision has been made following a number of issues that have arisen in relation to the event organisers. As a result, we have taken the decision not to host the event at Tresillian Barton.

The event organisers have advised that they are seeking an alternative venue and that they intend to contact those who have booked pitches in due course. Any traders or participants should contact the event organisers directly for further information and updates.

Tresillian Barton is not responsible for any arrangements, bookings, or payments made in connection with this event. Any queries relating to bookings, refunds, or future arrangements should be directed to the event organisers.

📣 SWIMDOG 2026 — WE’RE OPENING & BOOKINGS ARE LIVE! 🐾💙

We’re delighted to announce that SwimDog reopens for the 2026 season on Friday 3rd April 🎉

And… bookings are now LIVE 🐕💦

We’re not yet sure what the water temperature or weather will be, so keep an eye out for updates nearer the time.

💙 New for 2026 — Optional SwimDog Membership 💙

For those who visit us regularly, we’ve introduced a SwimDog Membership designed to offer better value and a simpler way to book throughout the season.

Membership includes:

🐾 25% off all sessions and bookings
🎂 Birthday bonus — invite 4 extra dogs to one session
🐕 Guest pass — invite 1 extra dog to one session
💙 £10 contribution to the Murphy Foundation (which we’ll match to kickstart it)
🎁 Occasional member perks during the season

Membership is £70 for the 2026 season and is entirely optional.

Our booking system remains the same, with a modest price rise of around 5% for 2026.

💙 A Fair Start for Our Regulars

All loyalty cards remain valid.

If you have a part-completed loyalty card, you’re welcome to exchange your existing stamps for a pro-rata discount towards membership.

🗓 Membership will be available until 1 June 2026.

If you’re planning to purchase membership:

👉 Please email us first at [email protected]
We’ll calculate your loyalty card credit (if applicable) and send a balance invoice.

👉 Once payment is made, you’ll receive your unique member benefit code to use when booking online.

Please don’t book sessions first if you intend to become a member, as discounts can’t be applied retrospectively.
