Custom cut low iron mirror🪞

We recently created this mirror feature which details 2mm arrised edges and is wrapped in satin stainless steel. Our in house fabrication team expertly rolled out the satin stainless steel frame for a precision engineered fit.

We installed this piece using a split batten system which allows the mirror to sit perfectly tight to the wall, achieving a seamless floating effect which oozes luxury.

A bold step away from expected.

This striking shower cubicle redefines our usual style, embracing colour, creativity and craftsmanship in equal measure.

Built from stainless steel precision engineered details, it features smooth ball bearing hinges, concealed magnetic closing and a handle that doubles as a sleek back to back towel rail.

The glass panels are equally striking, toughened laminated glass in Arctic blue, sepia and grey arranged in a rhythmic pattern that transforms the space into something truly unique.

Finished in brushed black nickel with matt black lacquer, every element is designed for both beauty and durability.

Internal staircase, Kensington

A quietly complex composition of form, material and craftsmanship.

Bespoke balustrade panels, hand formed from solid round bar, have been meticulously formed to trace the underside of the stair stringer. Repeating looped details - a subtle reference to the exterior balustrade are interwoven with patinated solid brass bars, introducing contrast and a refined sense of movement.

The steelwork is finished in a deep, textured black powder coat, set against the warmth of antique brass, carefully toned to align with the wider interior palette.

The timber handrails wrapped in leather bring a tactile softness to the space, mounted on antique brass brackets the echo the balustrade detailing and complete the staircase.

This bespoke fireplace surround was expertly designed and handcrafted by SBG for the Kensington project. The brief called for a stylish yet practical feature that would harmonise with the home’s existing metalwork. The final design was thoughtfully developed around a bioethanol heater, positioned within the original open fireplace. Working closely with stone specialists, the surround was precision-fitted to integrate seamlessly with the fireplace, enhancing and complementing the natural stone. The structure is formed from blackened steel, while the facade features individually cut brass tubes shaped to follow the curve of the arch. These were carefully patinated to achieve an antique brass finish and sealed with wax for durability. The finished piece delivers a bold, elegant focal point, brilliant warmth, cohesion, and craftsmanship to the space. Styled for the setting. Built with integrity. Grounded in design. work stone

These bespoke external balustrades and handrails were designed, fabricated and installed by Stainless Brass and Glass as part of an extensive construction project in Kensington.
Forming an effective fall barrier across the 7-metre span of the upper terrace, the balustrade flows gracefully down the staircase, complemented by a matching handrail on the opposite wall. Constructed from steel and powdered coated with an architectural grade polyester anthracite powder coat system, the design features an alternating loop and spindle design. This distinctive pattern is repeated at the base of the steps, where it encloses the rear garden light-well for a cohesive finish. To maintain design continuity, similar handrails with the same profile were installed at the two front entrances, powder-coat in black to suit the front elevations colour scheme.

A recent prestigious project completed in Kensington London. We delivered a range of the bespoke architectural metalwork, including balustrades, handrails and this stunning custom fit canopy for the lower side entrance. Designed to maximise shelter within a tight space, the canopy is fabricated from powder-coated aluminium with laminated toughened low iron glass. Heritage ogee guttering and custom decorative brackets complete this elegant and highly functional edition.

Formed around a fully welded aluminium box-section frame, the structure offers exceptional strength beneath its refined silhouette. The flowing curve, shaped from precision-rolled aluminium bar and finished in a deep black powder coat, delivers both durability and timeless contrast. Wrapped in hand-finished Iroko timber, the surface will gently weather to a soft copper bronze colour evolving beautifully with time and setting.

Another stylish yet subtle shower screen installation by Stainless Brass and Glass. Crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel and 10mm clear low-iron toughened glass, this bespoke shower enclosure has been custom designed and expertly fitted to work seamlessly around existing tiles and stonework. The result is a clean, minimal screen that blends effortlessly into surrounding walls while providing an effective barrier to prevent water escaping into the bathroom. Working closely with the contractor, SBG designed the screen to compliment the existing cabinetry, ensuring a cohesive and considered finished throughout the space. SBG was asked to replace an existing handrail that no longer complemented the newly installed staircase. The brief required the creation of a new handrail that reflected the original design while accurately aligning with the raked angle of the staircase. Following a comprehensive survey, our in-house fabrication team produced a bespoke wall-mounted handrail tailored to the exact site conditions. The installation was first dry fitted on site to confirm precision, then architectural polyester powder coated in white to ensure consistency with the surrounding metalwork. The result is a refreshed, durable feature that blends seamlessly with the new stairs while providing reliable support and stability. , , , ,
