This is me...
Ant, Property Consultant of over 35+ years, Registered Building Surveyor & Chartered Structural Engineer.
I graduated Oxford Brooke's with honours in 1983, and commenced my professional career at Sheffield City Council Design & Building Services. As Snr Struct Eng. in 1990, following 2yrs P/T study at Sheffield University, I achieved Post graduate honours, in Advanced Structural design & Complex materials.
The 1st 15 yrs I learned how to structurally design & forensically investigate buildings. Throughout the remaining years I have Surveyed & Reported upon various types of property, within the Residential, Commercial and Insurance markets. Some Clients require guidance on aquision involving lenders or simply to give "Peace of Mind". Alternatively I provide formal support & assistance if my clients choose to sell their property and issues have been raised.
These days I work predominantly within the residential housing sector providing clients with a "One stop > One fee" professional service as both, Registered Building Surveyor & Chartered Structural Engineer, backed up by Professional Indemnity Insurance.
I know what & where to look for issues, Reporting to you on cause and resolution, in order to more speedily progress a purchase or sale.
I have acted as Expert Witness providing Independent expertise & evidence in Courtrooms for clients like Direct line.
