BBC Radio 4's Any Questions? is in Hixon this evening, the Staffordshire village Inta has called home for decades.

It is fair to say that, given events in Westminster today, heating policy may not be the agenda. But we have always believed practical questions matter. How do you make bathrooms safer? How do you reduce the risk of scalding? How do you turn that work into products and, where needed, changes in legislation?

Those sort of questions have shaped what we do.

The question we are asking now is why hybrid heating systems are being overlooked in the move to air source heat pumps? For many homes, they could be the pragmatic answer.

We won’t be in the audience, so I don’t expect that question to come up, but from one Hixon business that likes a good question, we hope our neighbours get the answers they are looking for.

We’ll be listening.
