▫EXTENSION•PROGRESS▫

▪️Swipe across to see the progress we've made on this unique new extension in Bradley Stoke📍➡️

▫After taking down the old extension and digging the footings, we discovered several additional public drains that couldn't be moved. To work around these, we had a ground beam and pad foundation designed to span over the drains, with approval from . We dug a large pad further out into the garden and installed steel beams made to the engineer's specifications. With compacted stone and the concrete slab now laid, we're ready for the next stage 💪. Not all extension footings go to plan but we always find a way to get over it and it's pretty cool to see steel beams going into the floor to support an extension, something a little different from the usual foundations! 👏

▫ROOF·UPDATE▫

▪️Swipe across to take a look at the process of creating this flat roof on our project in Southmead📍➡️

▫We've made great progress on this project, with the timber structure completed and the opening for the rooflight formed. The roof has since been boarded and is now ready for the single ply roof covering, which will ensure the structure remains watertight and provide long-lasting protection against the elements. We're so pleased with the team's work so far and can't wait to share more as this extension progresses 💪
