SueAir caught up with Gemstone Aviation (David Blakemore) recently. I’ve worked with Gemstone on all SueAir Diamond Aircraft purchases over the last 19 years, including G-SUEV (DA40 NG), which has settled in well at Kemble. Rumours that Gemstone were no longer in the market are very much false and indeed the opposite. The capable and experienced David Blakemore, who has worked with the legendary Henrik Burkal and Chris Dawes for many years, has acquired ownership of the business from Henrik & Chris, and the trio are still a team as Henrik & Chris remain involved in the business. Lots of interesting plans afoot and I am always interested in chatting to any prospective Diamond owners if I can give any benefit from my experiences over the years.

Gemstone Aviation sells the complete range of Diamond Aircraft, including Special Mission Aircraft built by Diamond and Ecarys.
