The Astoria Cinema Ayr Project is nearly at the end…
And what a project it has been, when you look back at the photos from that first site meeting with Chris from Merlin back in October to how it’s looking today💙🎥🎞️

This was a great project that we have been very proud to be a part of, and project manage.
From phase one internal works then onto phase two, external works.

To see how good it is looking coming to the end we think speaks for itself. The detail in the tower is beautiful and finished to the highest standard.

The final signage will hopefully be completed by tomorrow then we can get the scaffolding dropped and you will get to see a proper reveal of the full building 💙

Ross Clark Roofing & Roughcasting’s team have been working hard chipping off the old render and re-rendering the tower, which is being finished with a coloured acrylic render ….

David Lee from Ayrshire Decor, who has been working inside the building will be starting external painting works on Monday….

Great views over Ayr for the boys today as phase two of the Astoria Cinema Ayr project starts

Scaffolding is being erected and monoflexed, to allow protection from the weather and to shield debris to allow the tower to be acrylic rendered and the building painted as well as the installation of new signage.

Can’t wait to see the results of this and see the building preserved back to its former glory 👀🎥🍿🎬

This job is one we are proud to be part of!

We project managed the full job and organised all trades involved in getting this building back open and looking amazing and while also keeping it local ❤️

It’s great to see Astoria Cinema Ayr open and busy. The town has missed its cinema 🎥🍿if you haven’t been in yet pop in over the holidays you won’t be disappointed.

Phase 1
Inside of the building is now complete (floor one)✅

Phase 2
The external building works start on Tuesday,
The building will be fully scaffolded, the tower will be acrylic rendered and the building fully painted. As well as new signage installed and shopfront. Restoring it to its former glory.

I would like to thank all companies that helped get this complete with their services provided. We couldn’t have done it without you.
