🚤🌿 Giving heritage a new purpose!
Today we were back in Millwall Outer Dock, working with as part of a wider project to tidy up the dock and improve its environment 🦢🐟

This practical, pragmatic solution reuses an old ship fender from the dock’s working days, turning it into a safe haven for birds, fish, and other aquatic life — right in the heart of Canary Wharf.

Small changes like this can make a big difference 💚

Our team out in North Dock of yesterday supporting and hydraulic engineers to replace hoses on the North Dock Footbridge.

It's always nice to be able to take our boats to unusual places, think this one might even be beyond the reach of Silver Propeller Challenge! 😊

We recently supported Canal & River Trust to reseat a lock gate which had been lifted and had blocked the busy Regent's Canal at Camden.

This delicate operation involved gently lifting the gate to enable it to swing back into the correct position and swing freely. With our experienced crane operator working closely with the expert reactive works team at CRT we got the gate lifted successfully and back in use in no time at all.

Special thanks to the team at Murphy Group who we are currently working with in West London who rescheduled things to release our crane barge at short notice to get this done.

🌟🛠️ A job well done at Higg's Lock on the Kennet & Avon Canal! Our collaboration with the experienced Canal & River Trust site team, our specialist barge "Jumbo," and our skilled crane operator ensured the replacement of both sets of gates and the timely completion of all works, despite initial challenges with the weather.

🎄 With Christmas approaching we've just got time to tidy up the site, reopen the canal and enjoy a well-deserved break before we start all over again at Cobblers Lock on the 2nd Jan.

🏗️🦆🔧 A big thanks to P&S Marine, MJT Crane Hire LTD. and a.s.taylor transport for getting our boat to the Kennet and Avon. Massive appreciation to the CRT team for their fantastic work, and a nod to the friendly muscovy ducks at Bedwyn Wharf!

🎥🌟 Our collaboration with Canal & River Trust and Amco-Giffen on the Oxford Canal recently featured on BBC South news.

This initiative involves installing a new lifting mechanism on one of the Oxford Canal's bridges near Aynho. Ensuring the iconic lift bridges along the southern Oxford Canal continue to function reliably into the future while preserving their rich heritage.

This work follows a similar project last year as part of a £650k initiative across four bridge sites.

🎊🎉✴️A SURPRISE UNVEILING 🎊🎉✴️
🚗💫 It was an honour to be a part of Nissan's celebration of 20 years in Paddington recently with the unveiling of the Nissan 20-23 concept car on the canal outside the Nissan Design Europe Offices. We brought our canal expertise and specialist plant to the team, making sure everything flowed smoothly.

🏗️ Bright and early we set up to complete the delicate lift of the 2 tonne concept car with our floating crane. Before bringing the car into view on cue with the President of Nissan delivering his speech to the waiting press.

🔄 After the event, we smoothly reversed the process, ensuring the priceless car was back on dry land by nightfall.

Fantastic to be able to work with such a multidisciplinary team of people to deliver something totally unique on the canal.

Another little but satisfying job for our team. This time over at the Canal & River Trust yard in Enfield. We replaced a leaky deck hatch and replaced the cabin floor on one of their workboats bringing it back into action before the winter.
