The year might be drawing towards a close, but we’re certainly not slowing down.

Next up for the Modulek team is The National NHS Estates Conference and Exhibition 2026 in London on 11 November. The event brings together healthcare estates professionals to discuss some of the significant challenges facing NHS infrastructure, from ageing buildings and increasing demand to sustainability and future capacity.

Healthcare continues to be an important growth sector for Modulek, and we’re looking forward to more conversations about how modular construction can help estates teams deliver crucial clinical space faster and with less disruption to existing services.

And our message heading into the final months of 2026 is simple:

It’s always rewarding to see a building completed. It’s even better to see people enjoying it.

We were delighted to attend the opening day of the new Woolley Woods outdoor site on the Arlington Estate in North Devon, where Modulek has delivered the new outdoor hub and toilet facilities.

The wider site has been created as an accessible and inclusive outdoor space, with trails, play facilities, cycling areas and spaces for the local community to enjoy the surrounding landscape.

Our buildings needed to feel like part of that landscape too. The outdoor hub and toilet block have been finished using timber taken directly from trees on the site, giving the buildings a completely unique appearance and helping them sit seamlessly within their surroundings.

Seeing so many people experiencing the new facilities on opening day was a brilliant way to mark the completion of the project.

A new sports pavilion. A new focal point for the Mindenhurst community.

We’re proud to share the story behind Modulek’s latest completed project for Skanska at Deepcut Barracks, delivered as part of the wider regeneration of the former Princess Royal Barracks into a new community for more than 2,800 residents.

The new permanent sports pavilion forms part of the Mindenhurst Sports Hub and provides modern changing rooms, washroom facilities and a spacious social and function area alongside a wide range of sporting amenities.

This was a technically demanding project too. The building was delivered using 11 factory-manufactured modules, installed with a 150-tonne crane in a challenging site environment with no permanent services available. The integrated canopy includes cantilevered overhangs of up to five metres, helping create a distinctive architectural finish that moves well beyond traditional perceptions of modular construction.

The project also achieved BREEAM Very Good and incorporates extensive rooftop solar PV, combining programme certainty with long-term environmental performance.

A fantastic result from everyone involved, and a project we’re incredibly proud to have delivered alongside Skanska.

Chinthurst School’s new Art & Drama Studio is now up and operational.

It’s fantastic to see the finished building in use and, importantly, looking completely at home within the school’s existing grounds.

The new space has been designed to provide pupils with a dedicated environment for creativity, performance and learning, while the external appearance helps the building sit naturally alongside its surroundings.

We’re really pleased with how this project has turned out and hope the pupils and staff at Chinthurst School enjoy making the most of their new Art & Drama Studio for many years to come.

Day one at the Holiday & Leisure Park Development Forum, and we’re already enjoying a packed schedule of meetings.

It’s always a valuable event because the conversations are so focused. Operators arrive with real plans, real challenges and real opportunities to grow their parks.

For some, that means adding premium accommodation. For others, it’s making better use of underutilised land or creating a new revenue stream without introducing months of disruption.

A fantastic first day at Training Ground Guru Live. ⚽

We’re having some brilliant conversations with industry leaders from across elite football, discussing the challenges clubs are facing and how Modulek can help deliver the facilities they need.

From training pavilions and changing facilities to gyms, medical spaces, dining areas and performance environments, every club has different requirements.

And when the time comes to build, offsite construction allows much of the work to take place away from the training ground, helping facilities move forward quickly while minimising disruption to players, staff and day-to-day operations.

Ever wondered how long Modulek’s buildings last?

It’s one of the most common misconceptions surrounding modular construction.
Fast to build doesn’t mean temporary.

Properly specified and constructed modular buildings are designed as long-term assets, performing to the same structural standards and UK Building Regulations as traditionally constructed buildings. With appropriate maintenance, modular buildings can perform for 50+ years, with some lasting considerably longer.
