We were asked to install estate fencing at this beautiful property in Wadhurst, East Sussex that would be suitable for keeping these lovely labradors secure, whilst not being so tall that the view from the house was obstructed. Estate fencing profiles as supplied do not have a suitable spacing to achieve this, so we created a custom profile, and made a pair of gates to match them. Th main gate is traditionally joined, with mortise and tenon construction, and it pairs with a smaller gate that conveniently allows wider access when needed to the house. The dogs are secure, the view hasn’t been obstructed and the house and gardens have been complemented with this fencing that is a hallmark of the Sussex countryside and it will be there for years to come.

We made an arch to finish off this beautiful courtyard space in Wadhurst, East Sussex. The client had wanted one for the longest time but had never quite been able to get past the concept stage. We were contacted and after a consultation, the archway was formed in our workshop, installed and is now the finishing touch on a beautiful space for relaxing and entertaining!

Another visit to an older job happened again over the weekend as I went to Canterbury to see these railings that I created over the summer of 2023 and installed in the December. Every picket was hand forged to match the existing Victorian railings on each adjoining property, and now that they have weathered in and the client has finished their renovations, they look right at home and blend in perfectly! It was so nice to have also been able to speak to the client whilst there and hear from them how pleased they were with how they have turned out and that everything is working exactly as it should two and a half years after I last saw them.
