WE ARE HIRING:
Invicta Construction Finishes are looking for an experienced plasterer to join our expanding business. We are a family feel based company and look after our staff very well. We are a Wakefield based business covering the Yorkshire area.

Duties will include:
Skimming
Boarding
Rough cast patching
Rendering
Cork spray coatings (full training given)

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence, be enthusiastic and passionate about their work and be able to talk to customers face to face. Working in tenant properties and experience with social/council housing preferred. We also require 2 references from previous jobs or work completed.

NVQ and CSCS Card preferred (cscs card not essential to this role)
Salary or Sub Contract basis optional, Bonus scheme and vehicle allowance.

First in the new facility and first one back after Christmas. 24 exercises, 5 second rest x2 rds. Thought j was going to struggle big time but not with these men pushing you along. What a community to be a part of, no arseholes just lads coming together to graft and do the best you can. Big thanks to my partner for the session Luke, we pulled each other over the line. Big upgrade to this old conservatory roof. This has Cork spray white coating on the inside and Dark grey outer Cork finish.
This process took 3 days to complete, is a fraction of the cost of other options available, sound proofs the roof and retains 35% of the heat. Also keeping the heat out making this once unusable space and extra room in the home.

This week we started the second part of the process which involves plastering over the cork spray coating we applied to the inside walls on this flat that was suffering with massive issues regarding black spot mould.

How does cork prevent black spot mould:

Raising the temperature of the wall lining cuts down the moisture build up in rooms

It forms a barrier between the spours and its food source, the wet plaster which effectively starves the mould.

Cork also effectively insulates the property with a thin 8mm layer preventing loss of heat from a property by 30%. You can literally feel the benefits.

A simple and easy installation process, which also gives properties a 38DB noise rating, Cat B Fire rating and is also impervious to salts and cracking.
