Solar eclipse anyone, I managed to get these succession of images as the eclipse unfolded to totality and two as it moved past it before cloud and sunset set in.

Later that night, I went out and had a bit of time watching the Perseus meteor shower, I saw quite a few but had two brilliant meteors, both passing from the direction of Ursa Minor across the asterism ‘The Plough’ in Ursa Major.

The first was really bright and left a smoke trail, the second was equally bright but fragmented as it shot across the sky. All in all a brilliant day/night…astronomy is really looking up🔭

Did anybody else just see that brilliant meteor fly past the front of the plough asterism  with a smoke trail ?

Update at 20:24 hours another bright media just went in front of the plough did anybody see that one as well?
