😎 Another great job completed in Milton Keynes! We swapped an old oil boiler for a GreenLine R290 300 Air Source Heat Pump with a 200L buffer tank.

The system is tied in with one of our existing ESP Ecocent systems already at the property for hot water, while the heat pump handles the heating. Even more awesome, we’ve set it up for both heating and cooling through the underfloor heating!

Retrofitting for reversible heating and cooling is still quite rare, so we’re chuffed with how this one turned out!

And the best part yet 👉 this homeowner took advantage of the Government BUS scheme through Earth Save Products, which means they received £7,500 to help with the installation!

Most people try to solve hot water and damp as two separate problems, a cylinder for one, extractor fans for the other. It rarely works as well as it should, and it often costs more than it needs to.

I designed the Ecocent to tackle both at once. It pulls warm, moist air from kitchens and bathrooms, recovers the heat, and uses it to heat your water. You get efficient hot water while actively reducing condensation and damp at the same time.

We’ve now installed hundreds of these systems. The feedback from homeowners and landlords has been consistent, lower running costs and noticeably drier, fresher homes.

It’s not magic. It’s just better engineering for how British homes actually work.
