Update on the position of EN124 – Manhole Covers & Gully Grates.

Composites UK and a delegation of member companies had a very positive meeting with the European Commission, CEN and other interested parties in April 2016.
The standard, although published, will not be cited in the official journal until significant changes have been made to it; it is thus a voluntary standard.
Highways England have provided a note on their specification of covers.”
