Premier Business Park is a membership organisation , pioneered by business leaders in the early 1990’s when they formed a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce , the Local Authority, Groundwork Black Country and the Police to tackle high levels of crime, vandalism and prostitution on the old Long Street Industrial Estate . As a result of this working partnership extensive regeneration took pla
ce and the area was transformed and renamed Premier Business Park. The Business Park remains a business led initiative with a Board of Directors made up of business leaders on the estate who take up issues with the local Council and police on behalf of their members . We endeavour to keep the area as aesthetically pleasing and as crime free as possible and to assist with this we engage the services of a local grounds maintenance company to keep planted areas neat and tidy and we operate a Business Watch scheme. Our members are full members of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce www.blackcountrychamber.co.uk and also have the resource of a Business Park Co-ordinator who can assist with all sorts of matterss from street cleanliness, updates on local development to signposting of services, training, funding etc, in fact anything where an extra pair of hands may be useful. We are proud to celebrate over 25 years as a membership organisation and still going strong!.
