Renewable energy is what we love about solar power! It’s the cleanest way to charge and power your boat by far. Once installed on your boat you can sit back and let the system take care of its self. As an added bonus we are putting together a solar dump system that will give you free hot water! This will mean no more engine running or turning on your heating in the middle of summer for your hot water. More news on that coming soon..

FAQ, How much solar do I need?

This is one of the top questions! It depends on how you use the boat, if its mainly at a marina and only used for weekends and summer holidays you can get away with a smaller two panel system!
on the other hand if you are going to live on the boat all year round I would say go for a big 1.5Kw system with four panels, this will give you great power in the summer and will cope a lot better with winter needs when the days are shorter and the sun is not always out.

FAQ, Are solar panels worth having?

Having solar on my own boat I can honestly say yes! when you find a beautiful spot to moor why ruin the peace by having your engine running! not only will your batteries charge up over the day for free, its also enviromentally friendly. lets face it we all love things for free.
