I’m excited to announce that Acton Brickwork and PBK 360 LTD are joining forces to build Extensions. 🔨🏠

After plenty of conversations and finding that we share the same values when it comes to quality, workmanship, and customer service, we’ve decided to combine our experience and expertise to create something special.

While we’re just getting started, we’re looking forward to building a strong reputation for Extensions and helping homeowners create the extra space they need through quality extensions and home improvement projects.

This partnership brings together the skills and experience of both Acton Brickwork and PBK 360 LTD, with a shared commitment to doing things the right way and delivering work we’re proud to put our names to.

Not sure how I managed to get all this done today in a typical British summer! ☔️💪

Another lintel installed today above a customer’s new patio door.

The existing opening had no suitable support for the brickwork above, so I installed a 100x100x8mm angle iron lintel, coated in black primer paint to help prevent rust and ensure long-lasting protection.

The brickwork was carefully supported using strongboys and acrow props while the opening was prepared, the lintel installed, and the soldier course rebuilt above.

This new lintel will safely carry the load of the brickwork above, preventing any weight from bearing down on the patio doors, helping to prevent sagging and reducing the risk of cracks appearing in the future.

Despite the weather, another happy customer and another job completed to a high standard. 🧱

Wow, what a busy 6 days it’s been!

It’s been a long time since I’ve completed alterations and a knock-through project on this scale. It was tough going at times, but we got there in the end.

A big thank you to PBK 360 LTD for their professionalism and teamwork throughout the project. It’s been a pleasure working alongside them, and they’ll now be carrying on to complete the full kitchen installation.

The structural side of the project is now complete, and it’s great to see everything coming together. Looking forward to seeing the finished transformation!

Another wall brought back to life 👌🧱

This front garden wall had definitely seen better days — tired mortar, weather damage, and years of wear had left it looking rough. After carefully grinding out the old joints and fully repointing the wall, it’s now solid, clean, and looking sharp again.

It’s amazing what proper repointing can do — not only does it strengthen the brickwork, but it completely transforms the overall appearance too.

Small details make a big difference, and restoring existing brickwork is often far more cost-effective than rebuilding from scratch.
