So yesterday was a first for us

We installed 2 pre-formed plasterboard lighting details (clients request)

It had mitred corners and nice folded edges, but for the life of me couldn’t understand why they chose to do it this way?! Because it definitely wasn’t any quicker.. in our opinion.

Normally, this is something we would build ourselves from scratch and never had issues doing it this way.

We still had to bead the corner and the top edge to keep it from crumbling away in years to come.
So it was a bit lost on us

Has anyone ever used this before? And if so what was your experience with it?
