Another full heating installation successfully completed by ADB Plumbing & Heating Ltd 🔧🔥

We removed a 21-year-old Vaillant ecoTEC Plus combi boiler and upgraded the system with a brand-new Vaillant ecoTEC Plus system boiler, now relocated neatly inside the garage.

This installation also includes a 180-litre Gledhill unvented cylinder, delivering fast, efficient, and perfectly balanced hot and cold water to every outlet in the property.

To finish things off, we fitted Stelrad Softline radiators throughout, ensuring excellent heat output in every room.

It’s been a while since we last posted anything and it has certainly been what feels like an extremely long and busy winter.
Below are some pics of jobs/projects that we have been undertaking and are now in the final phases of being completed.
Full house refurb comprising of new boiler, unvented cylinder, 2 bathrooms and cloakroom. Full underfloor heating throughout downstairs and radiator circuit upstairs. Just the kitchen/utility to finish.

Cheeky new vaillant eco tech plus installed with Vaillant boiler protection kit giving this boiler a 10 year warranty, as well as a new Megaflo unvented hot water cylinder.
Controlling the heating and hot water via a Nest smart thermostat providing weather comp and boiler modulation for a much higher energy performance rating.

This week has been a busy one. Removing two open vent hot water cylinders sited in the loft space but one almost about to leak, situated right above the main bedroom. So we removed them both and replaced with a 250 Litre unvented cylinder with a booster pump to ensure a constant flow rate of 12 litres a minute and a working pressure of 3 bar of mains fed water.
Afterwards we had to attend a job which involves removing a failed ASHP which was beyond repair and replace with a new Vaillant eco tech plus gas fired condensing boiler. The unvented cylinder/buffer tank also had to be removed and replaced with a new unvented Vaillant 250 litre Unistor.
Sadly the ASHP was never installed correctly and to rectify all the faults would have caused a lot of upheaval as well as money. A new boiler was the cheaper option as replacing with another Heat Pump would have run into the thousands and the client would not have been eligible for the boiler upgrade scheme grant! All heating controls upgraded to senso comfort with app control and weather compensation enabled. All underfloor room stats also upgraded to heatmiser neo V2 programmable stats as these also never worked properly from day one.

New Vaillant Eco tech plus system boiler and 170 Ltr unvented indirect hot water cylinder sited up this spacious loft. The last boiler sited in the utility room had a blocked heat exchanger and spent more time switching off than coming on. Full flush carried out and the old leaky open vent cylinder removed and replaced with this fully pressurized cylinder to deliver clean, clear efficient mains water throughout on both hot and cold supplies.

Just finishing off the final stages of this new build. Both bathroom & Ensuite now finished with cloakroom to go. Vaillant 7kw ASHP, 250 Ltr Vaillant unistor unvented cylinder and 45 Ltr buffer all just making it inside the airing cupboard.
Underfloor throughout downstairs with radiators heating the 1st floor. All commissioned and MCS signed off allowing the customer access the £7500 grant!
