Climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time. While no single action will solve it, every one of us has the opportunityโ€”and the responsibilityโ€”to contribute.

Climate action touches every aspect of our lives. In our case, we focus on the HVAC industry, a sector that plays a significant role in the carbon footprint of the built environment.

Letโ€™s stop calling it a transition. What we need is a true ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜€๐—ณ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป driven by decarbonization.

Replacing fossil fuel boilers with heat pumps is one of the most effective ways to reduce emissions. Combined with inverter technology and natural refrigerants, heat pumps deliver outstanding energy efficiency while significantly reducing both operational and embodied carbon.

The challenge isnโ€™t invisible. Itโ€™s systemic.

Contaminated aquifers, growing public health concerns, and increasing regulatory pressure have made water one of the defining engineering challenges of our time. When water becomes a source of crisis, managing it is no longer enoughโ€”it must be engineered.

For me, this story is personal.

I was born in Veneto, one of the regions most affected by PFAS contamination in Europe. Today, working from UK South East, that experience shapes how I approach environmental engineering: designing practical systems that solve complex, real-world problems rather than simply responding to them.

On 17 May, I had the privilege of taking part in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride across West Sussex.

Together with thousands of riders around the world, I joined a global movement raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and menโ€™s mental health through Movember (Movember UK).

Thanks to the generosity of friends, colleagues, and supporters, I exceeded my fundraising goal, raising ยฃ 454 from 13 donors.

While Iโ€™m grateful for the amount raised, what stayed with me most was the reminder that not every journey is about technology or businessโ€”some journeys are simply about people.

Whether itโ€™s supporting menโ€™s health or helping organisations transition to more efficient, lower-impact energy systems, meaningful change begins with the decision to move forward. Different roads, but the same belief: progress happens one step at a time.
