Complete house refurbishment finished in Emsworth! After a few setbacks with planning and party wall agreements it was all worth it to see the end product. We are extremely proud of the finish to this project with the pictures speaking a thousand words.

As with any old buildings you will find many problems.... no footings to the existing property, no existing steels and basically replacing everything. Everyone involved worked extremely hard and had to call on years of varied experience to make sure we produced exactly what the client envisioned.

*SKIPPERS COTTAGE*
We are deep in to the renovation of this 100+ year old cottage in Emsworth, and to say this has not been a challenge is an understatement. With the property being in a conservation area and delays in planning and party wall agreements, the start to this project has been extremely frustrating.
With that said things are now moving along at a good pace, with the super structure now complete and the roof timbers in position. The loft dormer now has been formed, all internal steels and stud work in place ready for 1st fix electrics and plumbing is being done next week.
As with all old building renovations not everything is straight forward. Crumbling brickwork, blown plaster walls, inadequate foundations to complete re-wires means that we went into the project with an open mind and a contingency plan in place. Thankfully we have a client who is understanding and has complete trust in us to provide the home they desire.
Thank you to everyone for all their hard work at this stage of the project and keep an eye out for the finished pictures as they are going be stunning.

Our double/single storey rear extension in Clanfield is now complete! A modest 3-bedroom property converted to a 4-bedroom with an ensuite to the master bedroom. A great example of maximizing your property into a more comfortable living space, firstly creating a larger living area with bi-folding doors and a roof light, an added utility area and downstairs cloakroom, finishing off the project with Indian sandstone patio and a sleeper retaining wall.

As always, we would like to thank everyone for their hard work over the project and an even bigger thank you to our client for being extremely patient during the build, although for most, Covid now seems to have eased away we came across many difficulties during this project. Materials, roof-light and windows delayed along with labour shortage. With our client having that understanding, this allowed us to make sure the high standard that we pride ourselves on could still be achieved. I think the pictures speak for themselves!

*PROGRESS PICS* Our Denmead project is moving along nicely and moving into the final stages of completion.

Not one of our bigger projects but I am sure you would agree the finish is going to look stunning. With the slate tile finish to in keep with the original property along with the Georgian bar windows and the bird peak pointing we really feel we have delivered the finish the client desired!

The inside we have created a more desirable living space with a new utility area and bathroom, with the client going for a more modern look inside, once you see the finish pictures, I think you will agree how much they really complement each other.

As always, we would like to thank everyone that has been involved in the project and we look forward to seeing the end result!

Ashlands Farm in Southwick is drawing close to completion. Second fix plumbing and electrics to be completed next week along with the decorating and the floor finishes to follow. This has been a fantastic project to get our teeth stuck into from our new clients, The Southwick Estate. Our package consisted of building the cavity walls out of a client selected face brick. We then dropped a suspended ceiling off the existing mezzanine flooring to create a one hour fire break out of fire board and MF. We then formed the partitions from C – Stud to create the required layout of rooms finished off with a clients selected second fix of all aspects of the build (pictures to follow 😉) The clients have been very hands on with this project giving us excellent guidance throughout. All of our subbies have been entertained by the surroundings (and the cows! 🐮) making this a dream build.
