In Memory of Liam Chute

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Liam Chute on Saturday, 31st January, 2026.

Liam served as a non-executive director at Tricel for over 20 years, bringing wisdom, dedication, and integrity to every board meeting. His guidance helped shape the company we are today, and his commitment to our success never wavered.

Beyond his professional contributions, Liam was a valued friend and mentor to many of us. He will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with his wife Anne, his daughters Deirdre, Sandra, Marian, Olive, and Audrey, his grandchildren, and all who knew him.

Celebrating the Retirement of Chris Dillon

As of Friday, 31st October 2025, we say farewell to a true industry legend, Chris Dillon, who retires after an incredible 50 years in the pump industry, including 29 years with Action Pumps and Tricel Pumping Solutions

Throughout his career, Chris has been known for his technical expertise, professionalism, and approachable nature, qualities that have made a lasting impact on both our team and the wider industry.

Last month, Tricel Pumping Solutions had the pleasure of hosting Watkins our valued client at Stamford Bridge for an unforgettable Chelsea matchday experience. Our Business Development Manager, Ian Austin even had the chance to meet Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who’s currently dazzling audiences on Strictly Come Dancing!

Although the result didn’t go our way, with a 3-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, it was still a fantastic day spent with great company. Here’s to strengthening relationships and celebrating many more successes together!

Team Training Day at Tricel Water Storage UK Weston-super-Mare

Last week, the Tricel Water Storage and Tricel Pumping Solutions team came together for a brilliant training day at our office in Weston-super-Mare!

We were thrilled to welcome Akhi and Kumar from our flagship Tricel office in Killarney, who delivered an insightful HubSpot training session to the sales team. It was a great opportunity to upskill, align our processes, and strengthen collaboration between our water tank and pump solutions teams.

The day also included a guided tour of the factory, where our sectional and one-piece tanks are manufactured. Its always inspiring to see the craftsmanship and innovation that goes into our products.

To top it off, the team enjoyed a well-earned dinner together in the evening, a fantastic way to connect outside the office!

A Flourishing Wild Garden at Tricel

We’re excited to share the stunning transformation of our wild garden this year! With a variety of native Irish wildflowers, including Oxeye Daisies, Yellow Hawkweed, and Purple Lupine, our garden is bursting with life and providing a vital habitat for local wildlife.
