Been a while since a Facebook update. Here's a little selection of things ive been working on. Been a strange time recently as some folk will know that an incredibly close family member has been diagnosed with something that both I and they wish they didn't have & Following last year when a different family member was diagnosed with something very similar (fingers crossed all clear now) its made me re evaluate priorities. Will be an update early 2027 on how my little business might operate in the future. But let's stay positive and have a look at what ive been upto.
Had a lovely XJS v12 in for some TLC and an Mot, (no photos unfortunately)
Re bushed a mk1 Es**rt mexico gearstick,
A regular customer Asked for his super clean mga to have its brakes checked over and and get it MOTd,
Collected a Nuffield Tractor with my brother for my dad.
And a friend of my mums asked me to re-comission her late father's Sunbeam Stilletto. It received new front brake cylinders, ignition system, cam cover gasket and a partial re spray to fix some bodywork blemishes. Something different to work on!
Put an early studless xk engine onto a test bed and ran it up to make sure it was ok before fitting into its new home - more on that soon.
And the Proteus Engine that I rebuilt last year has had to come back for some irregular 'ticking' noise to be diagnosed and fixed. Will have an update on that very soon.
Meanwhile Im still subcontracting myself to Oshe Automotive where we/I am building restomodded bespoke landrovers.
