Seamless Extension Roof Design

Working closely with 1Horizon Design & Build Limited, our team recently supplied a set of purpose-designed extension Trusses designed and manufactured to perfectly align with the existing roof structure on a domestic project.

From the outset, it was essential the new roof tied in smoothly with the original pitch and eaves. Our designer collaborated directly with the client to fine-tune critical ridge heights, ensuring the new Trusses sat at least 450mm below the existing ridge, as required.

To enhance functionality, additional loft loading was applied to the central bay, and web positions were symmetrically adjusted to allow for a modest loft area. Prefabricated Flat Top Valley Frames also helped speed up installation on-site.
