APPRENTICESHIP AVAILABLE. SIGN TECHNICIAN. WELLINGBOROUGH 16 – 24 yrs old
Excellent opportunity to become part of a local award winning family business in Wellingborough, providing complete signage, graphic, and bespoke acrylic products to industry from concept design, through to final installation, using computer design software, combined with modern and traditional manufacturing methods.
The candidate will possess:
Min grade 4 or above English & Maths (Upskill training will be included if these are not attained)
Computer literate
Good communication skills
Practically able to work intricately and delicately
Physically fit with some heavy lifting included
Full training provided for the duties of this position which will include:
Design of signage and bespoke products
Operating printing and cutting machinery
Self-checking & inspection of items produced
Installation of signage and other items
Supporting the production team in all areas as required
The Apprenticeship lasts 2 years with the opportunity of full time employment upon completion.
Apprenticeship Provider: Walsall College.
