Invertek Drives is at Automation Expo India in Mumbai this week.

We are showcasing some of our Optidrive solutions on our stand, including our globally successful general purpose E3 variable frequency drive. Also on show is our Optidrive Eco, dedicated to pumping and building services applications, alongside the Optidrive Elevator Core which offers advanced motor control for elevators.

Additionally, we are introducing the new Optidrive E4 to our regional partners and customers, a general purpose VFD offering increased capability without complexity.

It was an early start on Sunday for our team, supporting Hospice at the Dragon Boat Race in Shrewsbury.

Over 50 teams took part in the event, held on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of July 2026. Racing in 40ft dragon boats, it was a great team-building day and, most importantly, helped to raise money for a charity that offers vital care to people with life-limiting conditions.

Invertek Drives Purple Minions finished 14th out of 50 teams and brought home the trophy for the best fancy dress on Sunday.

This two-day event has raised over £108,000, and the total is growing!

What a fantastic day, and great effort made by everyone supporting this wonderful event and charity.

We are pleased to announce that planning permission has been granted for the Innovation Centre and Global Headquarters here in Welshpool, Mid Wales.

This flagship building demonstrates our continued focus on innovation, technology, people and sustainability.

The state-of-the-art building will provide modern Research and Development (R&D) space for the design of our next-generation electric motor control drives VFD’s, create an additional 100 skilled jobs in R&D over a 10-year period and provide training and long-term career opportunities for people in Mid Wales.

Our representatives Clare and Amanda had a great morning at the first breakfast networking event of the year at Severn Hospice. It was a great opportunity to connect with companies and professionals, build relationships and support the hospice.

In addition, attendees received the latest updates on the hospice. Three million pounds have been invested in transforming their Perry Ward over the last year to ensure it can serve patients and families for years to come.

To help raise funds for Severn Hospice, we are participating in the Dragon Boat Race on Sunday 19th July. It is a great way for us to get involved and show our support.
