When bakeware refurbishment is done properly, the result is not just a fresh coating. It is a controlled process from start to finish.

This visual sets out our standard seven-stage refurbishment workflow for customer tooling, from receipt and inspection through to final quality control and dispatch. At the centre of it is pyrolytic burn-off, the stage where the old coating is removed in a controlled way before surface preparation, repair, priming and recoating can begin.

Why does that matter? Because every later stage depends on getting the strip process right. Clean removal, careful surface preparation and the right coating application all help deliver a more consistent finish and dependable performance in service.

Our standard route includes grit blasting, repair and reshape where needed, primer application, then a polytetrafluoroethylene topcoat and cure. All work is carried out under ISO 9001:2015 quality management, with food-contact compliant systems available where specified to FDA and EU 1935/2004 requirements.
