Bridging the gap when it matters most!

Last week, the DnA team were at Virgin Media Communications House in Croydon, installing a much-needed bespoke bridging ramp to help staff move safely over existing data cables.

With limited space to work with, the ramp was designed and manufactured to fit the available area while maintaining safe, practical access.

Another example of how bespoke design can solve an everyday access challenge. Great work by everyone involved! 👏

Recently making headlines as the UK’s most beautiful shortcut, Crinan Harbour is now even more accessible thanks to a brand-new gangway installation from the DnA team.

When the harbour’s existing gangway deteriorated to the point where it was no longer safe or usable, a fast turnaround was essential to keep operations running smoothly. From the initial enquiry and bespoke design through to manufacture, delivery, and installation, the entire project was completed in under one month.

Our team worked quickly to replace the ageing structure with a durable, modern gangway, ensuring harbour users and passengers could return to normal operations with minimal disruption.

The installation itself was completed in record time, and the results speak for themselves — providing safe, reliable access while complementing the stunning surroundings of Crinan Harbour.

And of course, no project is complete without a quality inspection! 🐾
We were delighted to welcome our very first passenger tester, who thoroughly checked out the new gangway. It’s safe to say she gave it her seal of approval!

A fantastic project in a truly breathtaking location.

Guess where we’re off to…

🏝️Where the only neighbours are across the water.
🌊 You can only reach it by boat
🏴 It’s recently made headlines

💡 And the owners need one thing above all else … Easy access

When your “front door” is a shoreline and your commute involves tides, weather, and a boat ride, access isn’t a luxury — it’s your lifeline. Groceries, equipment, visitors, everyday movement… everything depends on getting on and off safely.

And that’s exactly why we’re packing our kit.

We’re heading up Harbour Island, off the coast of Argyll to install a fully bespoke, marine‑grade aluminium gangway built for island life — strong enough for the elements, smart enough for the tides, and tailored perfectly to the owners’ needs.

Homes change. Access needs change too.

And this custom gangway is about to transform life on the island.

Taking accessibility to places most people only ever see in articles.
