We work with pioneering customers from the early design phase to co-develop and manufacture complex micro precision components. Our engineers provide support to arrive at optimised, manufacturable solutions to your precision product challenges, from first functional prototype to fully industrialised production, improving value and manufacturability.

And rapid prototyping is one of our key strengths. As our processes are based on lithography without the need for hard tooling, we can produce prototypes from your drawings in days rather than weeks, allowing for fast design iterations before scaling to volume production.

We can also leverage plating services where necessary to offset the use of nickel in electroformed parts.

Can achieve very fine features and tolerances down to 1 micron, ideal for intricate cooling channels or microstructures.

Each precision manufacturing process has its pros and cons. For example, where one method can achieve >10µm tolerance capability, another can reach 2µm feature resolution, but this may be at the expense of speed and cost.

With more than 5 decades of innovation in photochemical etching (PCM) at our core, Tecan continues its pioneering mission. As part of the Materials Science Solutions Group of IDEX Corporation, we are proud to bring together the best features of both PCM and other micro precision technologies such as electroforming from our sister company, Veco to deliver the finest precision parts to overcome the limitations imposed by using each technology on its own and make the most of what's possible with micro precision.
