Hello everyone hope you’re doing well .

A wee update on some jobs we’ve had in . First up was a Hyundai that was in for a water leak , we found the leak to be the radiator and as you see it’s definitely seen better days .

Next up was a Mercedes sprinter in for a gearbox service which we cleaned everything , replaced the pan filter before refilling and testing the oil level once warm . Vehicle all good for many miles to come .

Lastly is another maintenance repair but this time it was a timing belt and water pump replacement and antifreeze change.

Hello everyone, hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine ☀️

First few photos are from a Vw that the alternator pulley gave up . We changed just the pulley to save the customer money on buying a full alternator… saving money = happy customer 😎.

Next up was a lovely Volvo in for service and mot which we had to replace the rear brake pads in the electric calipers to keep it in tip top condition 😎.

Lastly is a Skoda superb that come in for maintenance with a full service, timing belt and water pump change also keep the car in tip top condition 😎.

Good morning everyone!

Had this car in the other day with warning lights on the dash and on limp mode.

We carried out a diagnostic test and found some fault codes .
After further investigation we found wiring rubbed through which after time the wires corroded and broke .

We repaired the wiring , carried out a dpf clean and forced regenerated the dpf as that was clogged because the parameters weren’t met for the car to complete its own regeneration .

The cars running great like it should and will be getting better mpg which currently is much appreciated 😃

Hello everyone , hope you all have had a great Easter 🐣.

A lot have probably heard about wet belt timing belts and issues that come with them.

Here we have a fiesta 1.0 ecotec that we had in for a wet belt change. It’s was on 55k miles with no running fault but the customer decided to get it done before as a preventative maintenance which we feel is the best type.

So as you can see how much in-depth stripping has to be done just to gain access then once that’s done we locked the timing in place , washed and cleaned various parts before assembly.
The other special tool required apart from the locking kit is the torque multiplier to secure the correct spec on the crack pulley bolt as the bottom pulleys are know as spin free ( no key way ) the bolt is torqued and then angle torqued .

Along with the belt kit replacement was a full antifreeze change and full service.

The customer was very pleased with the job and gave her peace of mind for many more miles to come 😃.
