Another tarmac driveway complete ✅

• Bushes and plants removed
• Soil reduced by approximately 300mm
• Edging created up to the door threshold using the existing paving, laid on a concrete bed
• New pin kerbs installed to create a clean border with the neighbouring flower bed
• Terram membrane laid
• MOT Type 1 supplied, laid and fully compacted
• Finished with a fresh tarmac surface

Another recent project completed
As a highway approved contractor for dropped crossings, we completed the excavation and installation of new dropped crossing channel blocks, ensuring the works were carried out to the required highway specification.

The project included:
• Excavation and installation of dropped-crossing channel blocks�• Pin kerbs installed to retain the tarmac around the bin store and create a clean demarcation through the gateway�• Full driveway excavation�• New MOT Type 1 sub-base supplied, laid and compacted�• New tarmac driveway installed to highway specification�• Existing fence and bushes removed and disposed of off-site�• New Yorkshire board fencing installed behind the bin store and continued up to the gates�• Lead flashing installed to the top of the right-hand gatepost�• New side gate supplied and installed

From the highway crossing and driveway, to fencing, relevant documentation and finishing details, the complete job was handled by our team from start to finish.

Last week, our team excavated and disposed of the worn and damaged play surface at a local primary school before supplying and installing a brand new EPDM surface across the entire area.

The new surface was installed in two layers, creating a high quality, durable and safe play area ready for the children to enjoy.

But let’s face it, we all know they’re brilliant. Chances are you’ve either had dealings with Saint Catherine’s yourself, or you know someone who has. So, there’s no need for us to preach about just how important their work is.

On 19th September, a band of optimistic riders will point their pre-1985 motorcycles west and attempt an East Coast to West Coast… and back again challenge.

🚨 Emergency Drainage Works – PB Civils 🚨

Another couple of garden clearances and tidy ups completed by PB Civils 🌱

On the first property, damaged concrete flags were lifted and disposed of, old timber fencing removed, and the entire garden strimmed with all green waste cleared from site. We then imported fresh topsoil, prepared and levelled the ground, and reseeded the area ready for a new lawn to establish. ✅

The second garden had been left in a hazardous and untidy condition by a previous resident. Excess gravel, damaged decking boards, timber and torn geotextile membrane were all safely removed and disposed of.
New gravel boards were installed to retain the topsoil, uneven and rocking paving flags were lifted and relaid before being re sanded, and screened topsoil was spread and levelled throughout before the area was reseeded. 🌱

Two more gardens left safe, tidy and ready to be enjoyed again.

Another tidy transformation completed by PB Civils 👌

Worn out paving removed and disposed of, existing pin kerbs relaid, followed by reduced excavation and the installation of a geotextile membrane.

Finished with washed gravel for a clean, low maintenance and smart finish. ✅
