We striped all existing roof covering, installed new breathable roofing membrane, new treated timber tile battens, installed existing slates were possible and replaced old slates with new. Re installed original ridge and hip tiles using sand cement and lime mortar, Installed a slate verge system, and a new lead valley. We had to make a bispoke spiral staircase As the the old one was to narrow,
Built stud walls plastered boarded, insulated and floored the loft space out. Skim plastered and installed wood skirting boards. Also made a bispoke wooden banister around the staircase opening. Striped all the existing roof coverings.
Installed new insulation.
New breathable roofing membrane
New treated timber Battens.
And also installed a velux window to let light onto the staircase.
New tiles and ridge's installed.
Also installed new guttering and down pipes.
