Job Description:
We are a well-established independent garage looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Mechanic/Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment where your skills and experience are valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Complete inspections, safety checks, and preventative maintenance.
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and carry out necessary repairs.
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent preferred).
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

Monday to Friday: 8:30-17:30 and 8:30-12:30 Saturday
Pay : £19-£24per hour
