We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately… and for good reason.

Over the past few months, BOCE has been undergoing a period of organisational restructuring, alongside an intensive recruitment drive to strengthen our team ahead of the commencement of several newly awarded projects.

While our social channels may have been quieter than usual, our teams certainly haven’t.

This video showcases just a selection of the projects we’ve recently completed or are currently delivering across the North West, including works in Widnes, Bromborough, Birkenhead, Runcorn, Frodsham and Didsbury, with additional live projects underway in Chester, Southport and Preston.

As BOCE continues to grow, we’re committed to keeping our clients, partners and wider community updated with the progress we’re making on site and the projects we’re proud to be delivering.

Update from Southport

Over the past week, trenching works were undertaken to facilitate the installation of new electrical ducting serving the development. Following installation, the ducts were backfilled and the trenches reinstated, allowing preparation works for the new car parking area to commence.

The images show the progression from electrical trenching and backfilling through to the formation and surfacing of the new parking bays, which are now nearing completion with the tarmac works complete. Whilst this area will ultimately form part of the permanent parking provision, it will initially be used to accommodate temporary welfare cabins, providing welfare facilities for site personnel and subcontractors throughout the next phase of the development.

Road closures are in place, though not for long as BOCE are nearing completion of works at Royal Bolton Hospital. While a relatively small package of works, the completed improvements will make a meaningful difference to the functionality, safety, and overall appearance of the area for staff, visitors, and service users alike. We’re looking forward to handing over next week.

Riverside College, Halton

This project forms part of a £56 million investment across 33 educational facilities in the North West, aimed at enhancing learning environments and creating additional space for students. Our client is delivering the refurbishment and extension of this local college, with BOCE responsible for the externals and finishing package.

Our current focus is on the final stages of the externals works, including stoning up, block paving, kerb edging and preparation for upcoming tarmac works, with strong progress being made across all areas.

The BOCE team will be working throughout the bank holiday weekend to maintain momentum and continue driving the project forward.

Maintaining delivery while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality remains our priority.
