Extension update, since my last post we've had a bit of bad luck. The ground conditions were unsuitable for a traditional strip foundation, so the customers had to make the decision and they chose to have a piled foundation instead, as it's something I've never done on a job, I made some enquiries and chose WL Piling . I gave them a ring and spoke to Chris, he was the most helpful person I could have spoken to, explaining everything to do with piling and answering all my questions. He priced the job, spec'd it and the work was completed yesterday, a day earlier than originally stated. Even though it was less than a week since I made the initial enquiry. They literally did everything, designed the job, contacted building control, installed piles and organised the concrete, the even supplied an engineered spec of how I need to install the suspended concrete slab, Si and Aaron who did the work left the job spotless, honestly can't fault any part of what they did. I'll definitely be using them again in the future 👍🏻 and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a piling company
