Earlier this year we completed a full 3D scan of a large portal frame. This was then used to determine the amount of reusable steel to be recycled for future projects. The scan data was key to confirm steel dimensions that were inaccessible.

A throwback to an incredible project: a detailed 3D scan of a 450m historical tunnel! The lack of distinct features was a real registration challenge, but our team tackled it head-on.

We leveraged the power of the Trimble X7 alongside the Rothbucher Systeme's efficient prism-to-scan target swapping to maintain exceptional accuracy throughout. Diving deep into the data, LSS and their 3D Vision software were key for seamless point cloud processing, allowing us to generate highly detailed long and cross sections every 5 meters.

To deliver maximum value, we utilized Nubigon for an immersive 3D walkthrough and Nira to provide a fully navigable and annotatable 3D model. Our client now has all the tools to analyze the tunnel data in unprecedented detail!
